College Readiness Initiatives
The Coordinating Board received funding under House Bill 2237 (80th Texas Legislature) to implement a number of College Readiness initiatives. Among those initiatives is the Math, Science, and Technology Teacher Preparation Academies for certified teachers and students enrolled in teacher preparation programs to improve their instructional skills to perform at the highest levels in mathematics, science, and technology.
